OSTA Talks
Silent Nature Walks
Sunday 27 July

@ Start and end: Groenendael Train Station (Hoeilaart)

Join us for a meditative morning in the heart of the Sonian Forest, Brussels’ green lung. Our 13.3 km loop (or 8.5 km if you prefer the shortcut) begins with a quiet moment under a circle of trees, then invites you into silence, with a focus this time on deep listening: to nature, animals, and each other.
What to expect:
- A moderate-paced 13.3 km walk, that takes 3.5 hours.
- Opportunities to pause along the route.
- A gentle uphill section near the end.
- This is not a casual stroll, but somewhat of a challenge.
- After about 5,5 km, an optional shortcut leads directly to the lunch spot — ideal for those wanting a shorter experience (8,5 km in total).
Lunch at De Plek:
After the walk, around 12:30 we’ll gather at De Plek, a short walk from the station, for a relaxed lunch and time to connect. Let us know in the registration e-mail if you want to join for lunch.
Practical Information:
Free parking is available at Groenendael Station.
The train from Brussels-North arrives at 8:22.

OSTA will have a stand at the Summer Bloom Festival in Oostende.
The event features meditation and yoga sessions, talks, live music, and a bazaar with healthy food and products in a relaxed park atmosphere.
