This overview presents Flanders’ animal community. From companion animals to urban wildlife, we’ll explore population statistics and demographics to better understand our region’s animal landscape. These insights, combined with practical considerations, help inform where our priorities should lie in shaping policies that affect Flanders’ animal inhabitants.
Speaker: Jennifer Duvillers (OSTA)
Jennifer is an environmental lawyer with experience in environmental protection, wildlife conservation and animal welfare. After working as an environmental attorney, wildlife researcher and for an animal welfare NGO, she founded OSTA to support both animals and humans, focusing on the connection between them.
